Former NRL star Michael Witt will take on Warwick's Cain Buckland in his professional boxing debut on March 14 at the 'Smithy brings the big fights 9' card at Rumours International.
Buckland will also be making his professional debut but is surrounded by a champion team. He's trained by former accomplished fighter Peter Leisegang and managed by one of Australia's leading managers Steve Deller.
Deller's deeds are legendary in Australia, currently guiding the careers of many top pro's including Dennis Hogan and Jarrod Fletcher.
