South African prison is arguably a fate worse.

I wouldn't mind a little torture but tax payers have to pay for that so i'm against it. No way should average law abiding citizens be responsible for filth like that. Here in the US in most states the death penalty has been abolished so tax payers house and feed these criminals for decades waiting for them to die. It's a joke. Guys like Charles Manson cost more than an average workers yearly salary to keep in prison for a year. I pay for this crap and it makes me sick.
