Comments Thread For: Wladimir Klitschko on Facing Vitali: He Would Have Beat Me

WBC/WBO/IBO/WBA heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko would never fight his older brother, former WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. The two of them have ruled the heavyweight division for the last decade. Vitali retired last year to focus on politics and vacated his title, which Bermane Stiverne captured and quickly lost last month to Deontay Wilder.

When the two brothers ruled the heavyweight scene, fans and experts alike were always curious about have the two of them slug it out in the ring.

I'm glad they never fought. I, like most, would pick Vitali as well, but I'm sure it would have been extremely competitive, because they would know each other far to well.

I'm also pretty sure Vitali would say Wlad would beat him as well lol

What type of human being would want to watch two brothers fight?

Biggest duck of our era and possibly in history? Floyd Mayweather ducking Manny Pacquiao for 5 years, not including all the other top welterweights hes ducked such as paul Williams, and Antonio Margarito.

Second biggest duck of our era? Lennox Lewis when he ducked Vitali Klitschko rematch even though Vitali was battering and basically dominating the fight up to that point 4 rounds to 2 on every scorecard. The ref who stopped that fight was either corrupt or a moron. They can let Chris Algieri fight 11 rounds with his eye completely swelled shut and swelled up the size of a baseball, yet they stop the vitali fight because of a cut that was bad yes, but did not impair his vision and the blood flow seemed to be controlled between rounds for the most part. He could see just fine out of that eye and it was barely even swollen. Shameful that Lewis retired rather than give him the rematch considering the circumstances and the whole world who saw him take a bad beat down with the exception of a couple strong punches he landed of his own which Vitali took very well and were exaggerated tremendously by the pro Lennox crowd.

The ringside doctor stopped the fight. Did you see the state of Vitali's eye?
