The warriors like Pacquiao, Cotto, Marquez, and Tim Bradley continue to do business with Top Rank because Bob pays the most and they actually want to fight tough fights and strengthen their legacies. Bob Arum just paid Mike Alvarado 750k to get his butt kicked by Brandon Rios after losing 3 out of his last 4 fights. Devon Alexander had only lost one recent fight to Shawn Porter, and was a top 10ish welterweight and only got paid 650k to fight Amir Khan. The same night Khan and Alexander fought, Timothy Bradley got paid 2 million dollars to fight Diego Chaves. All the fighters combined on the Showtime card that same night barely got paid 2 million. Bob Arum is the best paying guy in the business and if you don't believe me why don't you research his fighters purses for their fights im sure you will be surprised. Here is another example. Bob Arum was offering Chavez Jr. ridiculous money to fight GGG. He was going to pay him 7 million win or lose, plus ppv upside. If he won, he woud have made 10 million in his next fight. If he lost, he would have made 5 million his next fight. Chavez Jr. got scared to fight GGG and ran to protective custody with Al Haymon. Now hes fighting Fonfara, likely for around 2 million, when he could have made 12-17 million minimum in 2 fights with arum guaranteed. Look at the pay of Mayweathers opponents and Pacquiaos opponents. Pacquiaos opponents almost always get paid more than Mayweathers, as long as they fight for Top Rank. Brandon Rios got guaranteed 3 million, while Marcos Maidana was only guaranteed 1.5 million in the first fight. Maidana was coming off a big win over Adrien Broner, while Rios was coming off a loss to Alvarado lol It's no comparison dude, Arum pays more because he has HBO in his pocket who pay more due to higher viewership. The flipside is that these fighters are expected to always agree to tough fights. Some cant handle the pressure and want easy fights. The problem is these fighters will never become ppv stars because you have to consistently fight and beat the best to become big ppv stars like manny and Mayweather. Bob Arum developed from rookie to ppv stars Oscar De la Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Chavez Jr., and Juan Marquez. Those are all the ppv fighters of our era with the exception of Canelo. Most of them still fight for Arum go figure. Its not because he pays low, its because he pays high. Say what you want about Arum but he knows how to develop talent and grooms ppv stars. He has them fighting and beating the best, theres no soft way like Haymon does. That's why Thurman and Khan and all the other top dogs with Haymon aren't close to being ppv stars, because they don't face the toughest opposition. That's where haymon fails as a promoter/manager/whateverheis[/

Bobs blocked big fights just like every promoter has at some point in time. The hate is for Bobs ignorance, among other things notably contradictory statements and pure lies to the media.

I dont look at many fight purses but imo Manny and Tim Bradley as well as Marquez are Top Ranks cash cows. While Floyd got paid 32 or whatever vs Cotto, Cotto made good money, made more than when he fought Manny.

Also your logic is somewhat flawed just for the simple fact that Top Rank doesnt have the vast stable of fighters Al Haymon has. When you have over 170 fighters and you can still pay a guy like LSC 750k to fight a pure bum, you arent underpaying at all. Broner gets 7 figures so does Danny Garcia, and Khan, among others. But when youre trying to spread money arpund 170+ fighters, of course he cant pay the same as Bob can for his top 3 or 4 money makers. But the B level fighters prolly get paid more thru Haymon than they would Bob.

Listen you dont hear fighters leaving and suing Haymon as much as you do Bob, gta be something to that. And MORE fighters are signing with Haymon, but hes the biggest problem in boxing more so than Bob?
Don't make yourself look like an idiot by replying that long to an idiot like jjsmit. Do you honestly believe he comprehends what you wrote? He just spout lies after lies and pretends these are facts

I thought Sonsona was a TR fighter? Did his contract expire after the Vazquez fight?

At anyrate if you look a year ago, TR controlled the FW division. Now their losing it. If Walters goes with Haymon, Gradovich loses to Selby, and Gonzalez loses to Russell, TR is screwed in terms of developing Lomachenko as a big attraction.
