They realize that for this fight to happen they need each other to agree, which is why the purse split was agrees upon almost at the beginning. So its not about arum not wanting Floyd to get money and vice versa, they have already agreed to the money side of things. When Floyd met pacquiao in his suite after pacquiao and arum had been saying for weeks that they had agreed to all terms, what was the issues being discussed in the meeting? It was network issues, pacquiao and arum were right in that they had agreed to all the demands, but they were wri g In that Floyd wasn't satisfied with the network situation. Also, Floyd needs bob for this fight to get made and promoted properly. Mayweather promotions have never promoted a ppv fight by themselves. Even after they got their promoters license in Vegas, they still co promoted with golden boy for maidana 2 because mayweather promotions is new to the game and have absolutely no experience. Mayweather is going to learn a lot from bob arum and the ins and outs of fights. Bob arum is old school, he is used to him and don king trashing each other in the media for decades, and then coming together a few times a year to make big fights. Richard shafer is from Sweden I think and for some reason when bob said negative things in the media, shafer vowed never to worn with bob, even at the expense of the health of boxing due to the cold war that shafer started at golden boy. Bob does speak his mind and say he thinks mayweather is apprehensive about the fight, but mayweather needs to man up and put that petty egotistical bull rap to the side and just agree to the fight. Arum says the fight is close to being made, and now Floyd will try to use that as an excuse to avoid the fight again. Because he can say well bob was lying about the status of the negotiations. Its b.s. And a smokescreen, mayweather is scared plain and simple. He'd rather fight two bums than to fight pacquiao is what mayweather himself said to fighthype back in novemberish. Arum is his alibi, but arum has been quiet the last few days so he's taking that alibi away and I hope it stays that way, but if not, just because arum is making ****** comments to the media like he always does is not anywhere near a legit excuse to duck the fight and deprive his own legacy and deprive the fans out of potentially the greatest fight in history and we would be so lucky to actually watch it live, if only we could convince mayweather he needs to do this and fight.

ShowTime and al haymon have created this monster who ducks all the top opposition to preserve that 0 loss record, so that people will tune in to his next fight, because otherwise, nobody would watch him fight with his boring runner potshotting style. Hes lucky most casual boxing fans dont know that mayweather was soundly beaten by a b level fighter Jose Luis Castillo, and was given a gift decision. If he would have lost that fight, pacquiao would be sitting alone atop the ppv throne right now, and would have beaten mayweather twice already.Comment

Listen everyone, lets stop thinking and talking about this fight. It would be nice if it would've happened already. It's way past prime time, so let's move on folks. Frankly, I don't care about the fight anymore. These guys have he-halled and stalled this fight. The thrill is gone. I won't be buying anymore of either ones fight.
