You want the middleweight champion of the world to fight an unranked fighter?

To be perfectly honest, it would be a hell of a lot more of an even fight then Canelo VS Kirkland. I am a Canelo fan, but I have to say that this fight is totally disgusting. On a good day, Kirkland isn't taking Canelo. Right now Kirkland is fat, out of shape, and hasn't been in the ring for over a year and a half. I personally can't stand Kirkland, but this is going to be a horrible beat down. It makes me sick even thinking about it.

James Kirkland is to blame here not Canelo every one seems to forget James Kirkland could have fought him like a year and half go but didn't want anything to do with Canelo Kirkland cried about getting a low offer . Kirkland is taking that low ball offer he rejected now because he is desperate for money .he got really bad advice and now is paying the price for being dumb

Kirkland fúcked up this fight big time. He didn't even have much of a chance with Wolfe, but now he's totally fúcked. Cool decision bro.

You can not lay the blame solely on Kirkland. What ever happened a year and a half ago is in the past. No doubt Kirkland should have told them no. My guess is that Kirkland is probably broke and desperate for money. Desperate people tend to make bad choices. Oscar probably, dangled a few dollars in front of his face, and Kirkland seen it as a way out. Oscar seen an easy target with a big name, so they went after it. They could have just as easily went out and found an active fighter and fought them.

Look guys James Kirkland is a street punk nothing more nothing less.
Anne Wolfe & Pops Billingsly literally took him off the streets gave him a chance to make something of himself. He let them both down repeatedly Two people that cared about him.
Ask any trainers around & see if they'd be interested in working with Kirkland They wouldn't. Richard Lord of Austin Tx was approached his reply was a distinct NO!!!
Folk say he beat Angulo? He didn't really Angulo beat himself punched himself out had nothing left a stiff breeze would have knocked him over'
He had the same chance as Bernard Hopkins had A trainer that cared about him. Bernard wised up turned his life around. Kirkland just carried on his street punk antics
Bernard is a wealthy man now. Kirkland is headed to jail again very soon I fear

This fight's gonna look like the Angulo beating now, Kirkland will just be fat, slow and have no stamina, getting dropped and stopped within 6 rounds.

I'm pretty sure this will mean the Kirkland won't be in the incredible shape needed for his style and he will gas in 3 or 4 Rds and Canelo will bomb him out
