According to the World Boxing Organization, they notified the promoters of Tony Bellew (23-2-1) and Krzysztof Glowacki (24-0) on February 2nd of having "15 days" to reach an agreement before a purse bid was scheduled. If the fight goes to bid, the minimum amount offered up was set at $300,000 dollars.
Both fighters took part in semi-cruiserweight title eliminators. Bellew won a split decision in November over domestic rival Nathan Cleverly in their anticipated rematch. For his part, Glowacki picked up the WBO's Euro crown and got a dominating win over Nuri Seferi last January.
