This is awesome. Im glad NBC are doing good things with this and going all in. Instead of getting some nobody from telemundo or some ****.

yes he did use to call fights back in the day. This is really good news. Having Marv is going to make the fights feel bigger.

Added to this they have Dana Jacobsen calling some of the NBCSports cards.

This is shaping up to be really good-so ,long as the fights are great.

Awesome choice, but would have preferred Bob Papa. To reintroduce boxing again to the new generation. I sincerely hope this succeeds and is able to topple ridiculous ppvs.

Guyz, as the article states, Albert used to call fights 1980-2003, and also as the article states, Al Michaels is on board as host. See, here's how it goes.... See the article, Click on the article, READ the article... THEN comment. M'Kay??

Good news. Now all we need is to dig up Don Dumphey, drag The Fight Doctor outta retirement at 87 y.o., have a 'Legends' segment with Frank 'The Animal' Fletcher, Quick Tillis, John 'The Beast' Mugabi and Freddie Pendleton... and life will be grand.

How soon we forget, no one will ever let Mike Tyson live down the ear thing, or Floyd's woman incident, hell they'll even bring up Shane and his use of PED's. But not one word will come up about ole woman panty wearing, back biting Marv. Guess people are willing to forget and forgive those with the right complexion. ......
