    If Williams fought tall.

How successful do you think Paul Williams would have been, if he had fought tall, behind his jab, using his reach?

Hard to say because then you'd be taking away what made him so special, which was his ability to fight on the inside. Williams didn't fight "tall" but he did know how to use his reach. That left he hit Quintana with in the rematch seemed to be launched from halfway across the ring. His real problem wasn't his stance, it was his defense.

          Can't really say.

          If Rigo fought aggressive...

          If Mayweather was a brawler...

If Pacquiao was a counter puncher....

P-Will was who he was and he won a lot of fights and world titles with the style he was comfortable with.

Exactly! In terms of his physical stature, he might've been successful fighting tall, but then you're taking away what made him great. Head movement was his biggest fault

he wouldnt have been the volume puncher he was because he would have spent less time in the pocket, and more time flicking his jab on the outside
If he fought tall he may have been a potshot type of guy

Yeah, seriously. And the way he would drop his hands before or after letting them go. Recipe for disaster. Diego Corrales did that to an extent too. GGG as well. Always a recipe for disaster when your opponent has good timing.

I noticed that Williams kept his right hand low. Or at least, he did in the Margarito fight.

Yeah Williams' problem was always his defense. But he was such a Tasmanian devil in the ring, firing from all angles and distances that he caused his opponent to be more concerned with the incoming than letting their own hands go. But he was hurt a few times at welter because of this. And then seriously hurt at 160 in his first fight against Martinez. We all saw what happened in the rematch.
