Ward would clinch, lean on, and hit on the break. Golovkin would have to maul him, which I don't think he's a mauler. I think Ward could stand up to his power and get a decision.
How confident are you in Ward's ability to stand up to 12 rounds of power from GGG?

We would need to see Golovkin show his power carries to 168 before we can start asking if Ward will stand up to it.Comment

It's a tough one to call, but I could see it playing out similarly to Hopkins-Kovalev if GGG decides to try and out-box the boxer (or spoiler), which I believe he is capable of because of his extensive amatuer record and experience. He is also very versatile and just all around skilled.
We also need to see where Ward stands after all this time off..Comment

Honestly, that Rubio farce was a disgrace. They already had the Murray fight signed, sealed and delivered by that night. Same thing happened in Murray's fight, the guy went down on some phantom punch and they announced the GGG fight that day.oh im sorry, who was the one who flopped on the floor like a pancake, after getting grazed by boone? Ward doesnt have half the chin that rubio has,and he got his lights put out in 2 rounds. wards only got 2 inches of height, and one inch of reach on ggg,so dont act like if golovkin is going to be facing a monster heavyweight. If ward can run for 12 rounds,he can win it,but the moment that golovkin connects, which he will, its goodnight ward.
This is why Rubio didn't even bother training for the fight, it was a foregone conclusion.Comment

Have no clue who would win this fight but it's comical the way some of you guys think GGG is just a puncher with no boxing ability.
345-5 in the amateurs tells a different story.Comment
