How confident are you in Ward's ability to stand up to 12 rounds of power from GGG?

Ward would clinch, lean on, and hit on the break. Golovkin would have to maul him, which I don't think he's a mauler. I think Ward could stand up to his power and get a decision.

I'm sure even the handicapped McClellan of today would knock your keyboard warrior ass out no problem. SMH.

Trust me, this piece of **** doesn't see past round 6.

We would need to see Golovkin show his power carries to 168 before we can start asking if Ward will stand up to it.

GGG is a very good fighter and without challenge at MW. But against Andre Ward at super MW it's a different world. Andre Ward is too fast and slick for GGG.

It's a tough one to call, but I could see it playing out similarly to Hopkins-Kovalev if GGG decides to try and out-box the boxer (or spoiler), which I believe he is capable of because of his extensive amatuer record and experience. He is also very versatile and just all around skilled.

We also need to see where Ward stands after all this time off..

I think Ward beats GGG. GGG hasn't been in the ring with anyone anywhere as skilled as him.

If ward can run for 12 rounds,he can win it,but the moment that golovkin connects, which he will, its goodnight ward.
Honestly, that Rubio farce was a disgrace. They already had the Murray fight signed, sealed and delivered by that night. Same thing happened in Murray's fight, the guy went down on some phantom punch and they announced the GGG fight that day.

This is why Rubio didn't even bother training for the fight, it was a foregone conclusion.

This is a ridiculous question. The question you should be asking about a potential Ward/GGG fight is will Ward KO GGG or simply beat him senseless for 12 rounds?

Have no clue who would win this fight but it's comical the way some of you guys think GGG is just a puncher with no boxing ability.
345-5 in the amateurs tells a different story.
