I don't care if Hatton had the best training camp in history, there was no way he was going to do anything against pacquiao. That punched would have knocked Hatton out every single time. Common sense tells you that the guy who is scared to fight the other is the one to blame. You don't actually believe Pacman is scared to fight the boring, extremely defensive TBE, do you?

Anyway, I have no problem with the fight not happening. I'd rather see TBE's ducking rep remain intact. It's lifetime entertainment. The actual fight is a guaranteed snooze fest, anyway. It's hard to stomach seeing a boring, running guy get rewarded with more than $100 million in such a fight. It will make you puke.

It takes 2 to tango. Only 1 side has the most well rehearsed and changing excuses in the history of boxing. Only 1 side was successfully sued for defamation. Only 1 side tweets from a beach when everybody else is busting a nut to make the fight. Only 1 side stutters and stammers at the very mention of the other's name.

That side ain't Pacquiao, who (look at his resume of opponents) had proved he'll fight any one from the smaller weight class ,any time any where or after somebody has beaten them already .

I'm going to blame Floyd no matter what. If the facts come out and it's clear it's Manny/Bob's fault, well then I'm happy the fight didn't happen.

He was past his best, but no one knew how far at the time and many thought it was a very competitive fight, even though Manny was the favourite a lot of people thought Ricky could bully the smaller man and picked him to win. No one expected Manny to win that devastatingly.

Blowing up in between fights really caught up to him. But he was still the lineal 140 champion at the time and had just beaten off his biggest 140 threat in Paulie (baring in mind Bradley had only just won his first title a few months before, Alexander wasn't in the scene, neither was Maidana and Khan and Ortiz were lightweights). Hatton genuinely thought he could win that fight when he took it, he wasn't just looking for a payday. He got the bigger split in that fight, too.

His training camp was a disaster though and whether he actually entered the ring thinking he'd win is another story.

Hatton never got the bigger split. The fight wasnt gonna happen because was pac wanted the bigger split. 50/50 was agreed and then pac decided he wanted more. I think it was 51 or 52%.
