        Negative.

Ricky's still more competent than Floyd and your idol put together!

Nah but for real Ricky deserves respect for those two legendary bouts against Pac and Floyd that undoubtedly helped forge their legacies. Ricky brought out the best in both of them. Like Hearns brought out the best in Ray Leonard and Hagler.

I'm looking forward to the 2nd generation of fighters to emerge from out of the Hatton clan!

Poor Ricky, brain damaged badly. On *******, mentally not there anymore. Fat as hell. I respected him as a fighter but he is no longer the man we knew. He is still deeply hurt about the way Pacquiao iced him like floyd couldnt. He actually almost stopped floyd in the first round so he will always remember that with joy.

He was past his best, but no one knew how far at the time and many thought it was a very competitive fight, even though Manny was the favourite a lot of people thought Ricky could bully the smaller man and picked him to win. No one expected Manny to win that devastatingly.

Blowing up in between fights really caught up to him. But he was still the lineal 140 champion at the time and had just beaten off his biggest 140 threat in Paulie (baring in mind Bradley had only just won his first title a few months before, Alexander wasn't in the scene, neither was Maidana and Khan and Ortiz were lightweights). Hatton genuinely thought he could win that fight when he took it, he wasn't just looking for a payday. He got the bigger split in that fight, too.

His training camp was a disaster though and whether he actually entered the ring thinking he'd win is another story.

Nobody on either side has claimed arum is trying to prevent the fight so I am curious why you say its up to arum. Even floyds evil plan with pacquiao in his suite he said it was network issues and that was after weeks of arum, pacquiao, and kontz stating through the media for weeks that they had agreed to the terms. Espinoza has said that arum is exaggerating how far the negotiations are, but that's a far cry from not wa ting the fight or preventing the fight. By all accounts, arum has been the one throughout this entire process who has been working hard to make the fight. Hes the one who went to moonves in the first place. Give credit where credit is due. Yeah he may some dumb things in the media, but its only because he's optimistic about the fight happening. Why else would he say that the deal is close to being finalized. Sounds like hes putting pressure on the mayweather/showtime to get the fight made which is exactly what they need. Haymon doesn't even give interviews because he knows there will be serious questions asked about all his shameful moves hes made lately.

I don't care if Hatton had the best training camp in history, there was no way he was going to do anything against pacquiao. That punched would have knocked Hatton out every single time. He was outclassed completely. People think Hatton was so great yet Pauli malignaggi was probably his best win lmao. Same Pauli malignaggi who thinks he could actually beat pacquiao. What a complete moron
