Lombard is an Olympian in Judo, fights at 170 and is built like a tank. I prefer boxing over MMA, but he would ragdoll/maul broner anywhere.

Because it's use of "complete" fighting or "real" fighting is nonsense. Can't elbow down, can't knee when a guy is down, can't head butt. Boxing is a "realer" style of fighting given the fact you will see two guys trying to knock each other out but you'll hardly ever see two guys rolling around trying to submit each other.....why? Because it's ******ed. The ONLY reason to take someone down is because you can't compete with hands. So if guys like Lara and Floyd are cowards for trying to "box" then taking someone down is just about the biggest ***** move in the world.

I completely agree. People who compare an MMA fight to a street fight are ******ed. Boxing is proven to work on the streets against multiple opponents. If an MMA fighter tried to beat 2-3 guys on the street they would get their head stomped while on the ground.

In a street fight the best is to

A - walk away if you can

B - end the other guy as fast as you can if you HAVE to fight. That would often be a straight punch, so yeah being a boxer would be a major advantage.
