Because Top Rank are on a high horse when it comes to negotiating because they have run boxing for probably thirty years longer. Top Rank now has realized that for this fight to ever happen they are going to have to give in to Floyd's OCD demands. Floyd needed and still needs to beat Pac to claim that undisputed dominance in the boxing world. Floyd pleads that because he beat De la Hoya he is the cross over star and the future of boxing. Well Pac beat both Hatton, De la Hoya, and Cotto in dominating fashion. So on paper Pac is just as much of a crossover superstar as Floyd, if not more so.

I totally agree. At least Oscar did fight the best- win, lose or draw. Mayweather's primary ambition is to retire with the "0" in tact. Most likely he will, but who cares? Im not a fan of manny, im one of the people convinced he was using peds for years. I actually prefer fmj to manny and think he wins the fight that wont ever happen.
