**** it I'm betting on Canelo in rounds 1-3.

Kirkland hasnt fought since 2013, he doesn't have a proper trainer, he apparently started camp at 200lbs+, his chin is always terrible.

Canelo might want to feel things out but Kirkland will try to bumrush him forcing his hand. Canelo will catch him, kd him a couple times, and itll be stopped Ishida style.

    You heard it here first.

They both came in at 154.5 and the Gomez-Soto undercard fight was cancelled because Gomez could not make weight.

That's a ****ing travesty. Has there been a replacement fight named?

Canelo coming in at 154.5, I think he might be able to hang around JMW if he wants to.

Well fellas, we're getting close now. This is almost guaranteed to be exciting. Really disappointed about not getting the Gomez/Soto fight; I thought Soto was the perfect step-up opponent for him and certainly not an easy fight. Now we only get the May/Pac replay before the main event :/. Oh well, the main event alone is better than the next 4 or 5 PBC cards.

Watched the 24/7 for this, really good stuff. I actually emphaised with Kirkland and I hope after this fight he screws his head on and focusses on his job in the ring. I always gotta back my boy Canelo. I'm expecting a KO win in under 6 rounds for Canelo.

                War Canelo!!

Gotta give it to Canelo. He takes all comers. He was gonna fight Paul Williams before the motorcycle accident. If I recall correctly he was gonna fight James Kirkland, but it fell through. There was a few boxers that for whatever reason the fights never materialized. He's the real deal.

I really didnt like him at first when he was winning titles vs. the likes of Ryan Rhodes, but since he's got to the top him and his team seem intent on fighting the best.

It's good, shows confidence in his ability.
