Man, I'll go to my grave thinking Taylor got screwed there. I don't care if you're not supposed to take the time remaining into consideration, Taylor was up and there wasn't enough time for Chavez to even cross the ring and throw another punch. I think that should come into consideration.

Go watch Mosley Mayorga and tell me what happens with 5 seconds left.

Taylor couldn't answer a simple question he was asked twice. "Are you ok?" He didn't answer. How many times should a ref ask before being answered?

I disagree. The official time was 2:58 of the 12th round, but if you look at the video, there were still 5-6 seconds left when Richard Steele called it off. If he lets Taylor continue with that time remaining, and ushers Chavez in, with 5 seconds left, I think Chavez could have landed a quick 2 punch combination before the bell rings.

That's why I reference the Mosley Mayorga fight. Shane was let loose with 5 seconds, and landed a knockout blow. Chavez could have easily done the same. But ****** people look at the official 2 seconds left and think that was the actual time Chavez wwould have been allowed to continue.
