  • Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: I'd Fight Miguel Cotto at 155 in a Heartbeat!

Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs), who just moved up to 147-pounds last year, is hinting at another move. Khan went to his social networks followers and said he was willing, immediately, to accept a fight with WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) at a catch-weight of 155-pounds.

Khan and Cotto were recently confirmed by Showtime Sports head Stephen Espinoza as being the backup options for Floyd Mayweather Jr. - if Mayweather is unable to reach an agreement with Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Only if he NEVER gets hit, which is unlikely.

Khan is too fast for Cotto IMO. Cotto would have a chance against Khans glass jaw. If it was at 155, Cotto shouldn't have to put up his belt. If Khan wants the MW title, Cotto should come in at 160 and have the weight advantage. NO WAY COTTO is fighting in the U.K. Madison Square Garden during the P.R day parade weekend is his M.O.

Not a big Khan fan, but if he fights like he did against Collazo & Alexander, he'd have a good shot at beating Cotto. Miguel doesn't handle speed & pressure well. HOWEVER, if Cotto lands on Khan's brittle chin it'll be night-night for Amir. I'd watch!

Dont but to much stock in Khans chin being so fragile. He can take a shot.

Khan should not get stick for calling out Miguel Cotto as the likes of Rios and Bradley are calling him out

This gives me a slight gut feeling Mayweather vs Pacquiao is finally going to happen May 2nd
