Rising super welterweight prospect Erickson Lubin is on course for a similar blueprint to what was enjoyed during his rookie year in the pro ranks. The 19-year old Floridian—coming off of an ESPN2-televised eight-round points win over Michael Finney on Friday in Biloxi, Miss.—is due to return to action exactly four weeks later in Las Vegas, BoxingScene.com has learned.

This kid is very nice with his! I wish him the best! I can see him going at a "Tyson" pace towards a championship fight.

The problem for him is he will be bringing a pea shooter into a battle with bombs when he faces better competition. He leans his head forward on the inside too much which will cost big time when the guys he faces start launching uppercuts and to a lessor extent, hooks. The division is too thick for him. First, he needs to grow up cause sticking his tongue out at an opponent is extremely childish.
