I'm not trolling. You said that nobody knocked out Chuevas when he was still good and he only started getting destroyed after he became shot and old. Hearns beat a very good version of Cuevas.............That was what I meant. But I guess I had to type this out for you to understand it. I really wish I had someone who could think and discuss boxing on the same wave length as me.

You didn't say Hearns beat a very good version or Cuevas, you said "Cuevas had a weak chin", verbatim so yes, you ARE trolling. Saying a guy has a weak chin because he was stopped by a concussing puncher like Hearns is daft. You said it, it is there to see. Sorry but your "wave length" is not up to par as evident by your "what I meant" statement which had absolutely nothing to do with what you actually wrote. That was a copout followed by a defensive statement about wave length which makes you sound desperate to defend an obvious statement you made which requires no interpretation. If you expect to genuinely contribute to these boards, you need to stop trolling.

Both are true ring warriors. I got respect for both but Liles never achieved the sheer peak of Tates. Tates was elite level, Liles was good but never quite up there. I gotta go with Tates due to more longevity, tougher opponents and better skills (eye test).

Boxing was nowhere near as wide spread at that time and there was no use of media. But if I had to pick a ducker? Probably some White Guy since they never fought the Black Champions.

My first point is that Cuevas did not have a weak chin and then you skated, and my second point is that Margarito was susceptible to getting busted up by guys with solid lefts and swelled up by guys who did not hit nearly as hard as Cuevas. Margarito would have been bludgeoned by a man who proved his championship level with 11 title defenses. End of discussion.
