Both are my favorite fighters, I am leaning a bit on Mathysse for a TKO win due to cuts on Provos face. But if these two stands there and trade bombs after bombs? It'll be over quick.

If Lucas can box smart , and withstand the onslaught , for the first three rounds , then he should be able to win. Provo goes all out early but fades quickly, this is probably the most competitive match so far this year.

I've read a lot of ridiculous things on boxing sites but this has to take the cake!

By your math Showtime will have at a minimum 27 boxing events this year and a maximum of 39 cards telecast. It is February already and they haven't scheduled any fights this year that I know of. By the time they get in gear with their first fight then according to you we can expect about a fight card a week on Showtime?

It's nice that you want to defend Showtime vs HBO but get real. Who are you really? Mrs. Espinoza?

I agree but I question Matthysse's team, will they even know that much about Provo to know that he fades after 4 rounds?

I wonder if Provo is keeping himself in better shape between fights? Before he fought Algerie he looked more like a Siberian Bear in the fall than a Siberian Caveman.

Showtime put on 4 shows in December 2014.

Beyond that, Showtime works with a guy with access to over 160 fighters directly, and more indirectly, while also having a the budget committed to put on fight cards.

if you honestly think that Showtime can't manage 2 cards a month, you're a clown.
