That was why Showtime offered a lot, unlucky for them HBO needs fights like that also and doesn't have a lot lined up so springing for that seems simple enough.

It is a good time to be a fighter right now, seems like there will be a lot of competition for services.

Things aren't looking good for Showtime. I think their greed in trying to dethrone HBO, led to poor decisions, like over paying Floyd. Looks like Al Hayman has also put the screws to Showtime by putting garbage fights like Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka on Showtime and giving the fights they needed like Danny Garcia vs Lamont Peterson to NBC.

That being said, I am actually glad that the fight is being aired on HBO.

Tough fight to call...... Have to go with Matthysse though because I think he has a lil more boxing to go with his power while Provo is come forward and **** out but take bombs in the process. If Matthysse can stand the pressure and barrage then he wins.
