And it is a fight that makes sense for both guys and if Top Rank was going to offer an extension Crawford and how much that fight would be worth to him would have to be a very key point. Plus we both know Top Rank that would have to marinate and Garcia needs a warm-up fight anyway.

On another note. I think the premium networks like HBO are feeling the pressure Haymon is putting on them with his current power moves. I think they now are saying "hey, we gotta get some damn good fights going or we're f1cked..."

You make a good point. But maybe hbo is just gonna cede the first half of the year then load up in the 3rd or 4th quarter. They still have a lot of intriguing fights like this they can have Bob make.

Yea it would be something like; They are on the same card together, they fight, then the winner fights Manny.

Which is a pretty solid plan, the problem would be getting Mikey on board but that is never impossible. Honestly I can't see why Top Rank wouldn't just pay Garcia at this point they need him as badly as he needs to get in the ring.
