BoxingScene.com first reported on Thursday that a deal was completed for a fight between WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee (34-2, 24KOs) and undefeated top contender Peter Quillin (31-0, 22KOs). The fight is likely going to take place on April 11th, as part of Al Haymon's 'Premier Boxing Champions' broadcast on NBC.

Quillin held the belt and made three successful defenses. He was then ordered to face Matt Korobov in a mandatory fight. He vacated the title to take care of some personal matters. Lee and Korobov were then ordered to fight for the vacant WBO crown - and last December in Las Vegas, Lee captured the title with a sixth round stoppage of Korobov.

if quillin beats lee haymon will block the GGG fight and make quillin give up the title if the fight is somehow mandated ... It's the fans fault. The people that support and watch quillin support his ducking.

GGG can get any MW belt he wants if he leaves HBO when his deal is up. I don't think he would do something like that (would be ****** IMO) so he should just let it go and go up to 168 and unify there.

I suppose he may have to in the end but it's not a case of 'he should' if you want to talk about 'shoulds' then what 'should' happen is the other champs at 160 'should' man up and fight him.
