By the way, Wladimir won the WBA from David Haye in 2011, not Povetkin, dummy. So even when I use your own ******ed logic, he's still held the title for longer than Ali.

Just because Ali wasn't dominant enough to hold the title for more than 3 years doesn't mean that his opponents were some how in another league compared to Wladimir's.

Ali was out boxed and got his jaw broken by Leon Spinks who only had 7 professional fights. Imagine if Povetkin only had 7 pro fights and beat Wladimir, you would jump all over him.

a 5'11 BRAWLER Joe Frazier beat up Ali

Foreman is built up as this legendary world beater heavyweight, but who did he really beat? Is anyone really impressed that a 6'3 260lbs brawler like Foreman beat a 5'11 230lbs brawler like Frazier?

Wladimir Klitschko would beat the utter sht out of Ali and you know it. Unlike Foreman, Wladimir's not going to gas out while beating the sht out of him.
jeez dude. ali was a shell of himself when he fought spinks. ali was rusty after a layoff when he lost to frazier and avenged it twice. im a wlad fan myself but no way in hell does his resume even come close to ali's. wlad would have been punching at air all night against a young prime ali

Arrogant American boxing fans just can't cope with the fact that sports athletes evolve.

Lennox Lewis, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are super athletes that have no problem beating smaller men.

If Wlad gets folded Vitali will come back. Their collective ego couldn't take the L.

              LOL.

Just shows that you don't know **** about boxing. The IBF is a relative NEW comer. The WBA and the WBC were around YEARS before anyone ever held an IBF belt, Genius. Arguing that the IBF has more merit than the WBA/BC is like arguing the value of dog **** over horse ****. It makes you sound like a ****ing idiot.

              LOL.

Didn't you just say that the IBF title "means far more than" the WBA title? If that's true then exactly what was the value in beating David Haye?

And BTW, exactly when did David Haye become the HW Champion of the world? Exactly WHO did Haye beat to win his "title"?

Ali has KO wins over THREE legitimate GREAT heavyweights.

Exactly WHO has Klitschko ever beaten?

I guess you never heard of a guy named ROSS PURRITY.

              LOL..

Joe Frazier would have KO'ed Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster ALL on the same night.

Foreman is THE oldest man ever to WIN and DEFEND the HW title.

              Foreman >>> Klitschko

You mean like how Wlad didn't gas out in the Brewster fight? Is that what you mean?

                This is a fallacy.

Wlad didn't win the lineal title until his victory over Povetkin.

NOBODY rated Chagaev over Vitali back in 2009.

                NOBODY.

The claim that Wlad won the lineal title by beating Chagaev is nothing more that WISHFUL thinking and meat riding by the Klitschko nut huggers.

Why then didn't Vitali give Chris Byrd a rematch?

Why did Wlad wait until Brewster was out for more than a YEAR and coming off EYE SURGERY to give him a rematch?

                  It obvious that YDKSAB.

Your post doesn't make sense...how can the guy who LOST 'give' a rematch? If anything it would be up to the winning fighter to decide whether they would want to have another fight. Vitali would have fought Byrd straight after, but his shoulder injury from the first fight didn't heal up in time and Wladimir took his place and beat up Byrd. And obviously you aren't going to want to fight Vitali again straight after that...with Wlad holding the belt that Vitali had, they obviously weren't going to fight, so Vitali went down the WBC route while Byrd went down the IBF route. Then unfortunately the rematch didn't materialise. But any objective fan will say Vitali did not have much to prove in a rematch, we could see he was superior to Byrd and a rematch win would only be a W for the records.

In relation to Brewster, again as I say, since when did the losing fighter give a rematch?
