How is Floyd involved in negotiations when he is relaxing on some beach in the Dominican? Also hlwhy would he think talking to pacquiao and Michael kontz, two people who have nothing to do with the negotiations solve anything? It was an obvious media ploy.

What it seems like to me is just when arum thinks things are going good, he funds out Floyd makes a new demand. In fact he said that in here a couple days ago. That would explain why he comes out saying one day that they are close to making a deal, and then a few days later would say there are some things to work out. Floyd doesn't want this fight. He will back out and blame bob arum ive been saying it from the beginning and every week it begins to unfold just as i imagined it.

Lets say for a second that Floyd doesnt want the fight and all other parties have agreed terms, hypothetically speaking.

Do you think Showtime is going to come out and say that ?

They are going to come out and say

" We did all we could to make the Pac fight, we agreed terms with HBO, everyone was on board, Arum and Pac agreed to everything but in the end we just coudlnt get Floyd to sign. He doesnt want to fight Pac"

"Now please come out on May 2 and pay $70 to see FLoyd fight, thanks"

The HBO prez says they are not an impediment to the fight in the article, meaning they are ready to do a deal.

Of course there's no deal. Showtime cant do a deal til they get Floyd to fight, they need an out.
