Hirschman makes it sound like HBO's getting the short end of the stick. Like "fine, I guess we have to do this." At least their working hard to make it happen anyway.

Technically they don't even need to be involved. Manny is not signed to HBO his promoter is. Floyd is signed to Showtime (remember 1 of Floyds demands earlier on was the fight should be on Showtime).

The problem is the rebroadcast of the fight. Last time (Lewis-Tyson), the winners network got it. Showtime offered HBO the same deal but they don't want it.


So they are not really doing everything in their power to make the fight.


What other issue could it be aren't the networks getting the same split?

They should just do it on CBS, and do a joint card on free TV after that.

Funny how everyones calling Floyd a liar in the previous article yet didnt Bob and Koncz both, say the broadcasting issues were resolved last week during the private meeting? And didnt HBO already say earlier their good to go, but these issues are resolved as of today? With 2 more issues to work out lol........love Bob and his inconsistencies, Mayweathers the only semi consistent one

Mayweather is such a liar, he set up that meeting to make it look like he's interested when he really doesn't have anything to do with negotiations. Arum and moonbes and hershman and their lawyers work on everything.

I respectfully disagree, I guarantee these "new" demands are the same demands Floyd has been asking for. Plus all I was saying is there are Multiple conflicting reports coming out of Top Rank and HBOs side, really no inconsistencies with Floyd and Showtime, I mean I dont like Espinoza as much as the next guy but he has called Bob out on his BS multiple times during these negotiations.

I mean HBO said they werent an impediment days ago, but are still negotiating these network issues today?
