Comments Thread For: David Price: If Fury Can't Get Klitschko, I'm Right Here

Olympic bronze medal winner David Price (18-2, 15KOs) is getting prepared for his upcoming fight with big heavyweight puncher Irineu Costa Junior (16-2, 14KOs) on February 21 at the O2 World Arena in Berlin.

Price has picked up three victories after suffering back to back technical knockout defeats to Tony Thompson in 2013.

Price expects his new promotional team, German powerhouse Sauerland Event, to get him in line for a world title shot in 2016.

    Ah yes.

    Fury vs the "White Wilder"

Will be a test for Fury but really, if an aged Thompson can waste him, I'd have to lean towards Fury.

Price is more Fury's level of competition. British Heavyweights who aren't good enough for the next level.

For me the top British Heavyweights are Anthony Joshua and a returning David Haye. If both of them come to the ring correct they could beat anyone in the world.

joshuas geting by on his juice he might have a larry o level of punch resistance and his back and bones are going to be problematic he will be throwing punches like mickey rourke soon, atleast we know why he says he needs 6 weeks to get strong or whatever thats how long it takes the 3 rounds of roids to kick in.

Price should never get a title shot.

Price is a great kid but he knows he's got to get one of the top lads quick and may be before he should because a punchers chance is all's he got and that won't work too often....stamina problems ,weak jaw sorry David just can't see it.

There was a time that I would have given Price a shot against Fury but definitely not anymore.

price can crack hard tho so he'll always have that punchers chance but obviously fury would have the big edge. I really thought price was the real deal before that first TT fight
