Has Canelo made any mention of wanting to face GGG?

Why would Canelo have to move up? GGG has said many times he would go down to 154 for a big fight like Canelo, and Canelo can't even make 154 anymore.

I have not heard anything from Canelo as far as GGG is concerned. Especially now that he broke up with Cotto over those deadlines Cotto ignored.

I agree. Something tells me Cotto will fight GGG before Canelo ever does. Canelo got his feelings hurt when Cotto did not return his call or respect his threats e.g. "deadlines..." Cotto's priority was trying fight Floyd. A little patience would have served Canelo.

Cotto would get killed by GGG and you know it. I like Cotto, but even I know that he isn't a real middleweight. Since Cotto has left welterweight, he has only fought 2 people that was true to their weight class (Yuri Foreman and Austin Trout). Forman was a feather fisted fighter that never really presented any threat to Cotto and as far as Trout goes, Cotto lost to him. Everyone else was basically welterweights. Cotto basically left the welterweight division because there was too much competition there, so he moved to a division that looked week, so he can leave his mark there. He could last there for a while, if he did like Sergio did, and just fight a bunch of European bums. I do believe that he has no business holding the MW belt and I am sure that as soon as he gets his big money fight, he will either loose or vacate the belt.
