I thought that might happen on NBC this year but now that I think of it, it'll probably never happen.

Don't like this matchup for Wlad. His defense is to clinch against short fighters who get inside his jab. Wilder isn't going to try to fight on the inside and is the same size as Wlad. Not sure how Wlad will neutralize him via the clinch.

I would like to see Wilder/Fury first and if Wilder wins that, then Wilder/Wlad would be a PPV worthy event

With Wladimir's poor chin, Wilder has a legitimate chance.

Not necessarily. Haymon will find a way to keep Wilder away from Wlad.

No need for haymon to do that...HBO is already the roadblock

when have you even seen wlad clinch excessively with guys his size? he usually just takes them out or batters them from pillar to post like he did with wach. he only clinches the smaller guys who's only shot is to win on the inside. there will be little clinching in a fight with wilder as it will be fought from long range

Wilder has a worse chin, worse skills and worse power. From what he have seen of Wlad, he is more aggressive v tall fighters. If he gets to Wilder first, he takes him out. Although Wilder does have the power also to end the fight.
