Comments Thread For: Klitschko Anticipates Demand For Wilder PPV Clash

IBF/IBO/WBO/WBA heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko is anticipating that a unification encounter with newly crowned WBC champion Deontay Wilder will reach the level of a pay-per-view fight.

"I think you're right. That can happen. I don't know who he's going to fight next but he need to win impressively. I think it is something that is going to be in demand as a pay-per-view," Klitschko said.

    Lol!

I'm going to have to say that now that Haymon has his hands on the first American Heavy... He'll milk the public for all he's worth before putting him with any sort of danger.. Sorry Klitchko! As much as we'll demand it.. we're gonna have to see the Garcia/Salka type of match ups when it comes to Wilder..

Klitschko/wilder is a good fight...too bad HBO trying to block it...anybody notice why HBO "surprisingly" signed for klitschko prior to wilder/stiverne?

Wilder and his team would never allow it. They're going to milk that paper title until he gets upset by a cab driver. Don't ever expect him to fight Tyson Fury, David Haye or Wladimir Klitschko

Wilder will have to fight him eventually if he keeps hold of the WBC title.

I can see an Haye fight happening maybe next year because he's with Haymon too.

Hopefully the WBC makes wilder unfit with all the talks the three organizations are having

I think this fight will eventually happen, maybe not this year but the end of next yr. Let Wlad get a little bit older.

Imo Wilder def needs tough guys who can take him 8 to 12 rnds. While he used a good gameplan against Stiverne he tired drastically towards the later rnds, no pop on his jab rly.

i want it to eventually happen cuz like it or not Deontay is our best bet to challenge Wlad. If pulev shook Wlad, Wilder can knock his ass down or out.

assuming both fighters perform well in their next fights, I want to see this fight. But I'm not going to pay for it. It should be on NBC or HBO.

Either way, WLAD destroys all of them.
