  • Comments Thread For: Cortez Still Siding With Mayweather To Beat Pacquiao

Hall of Fame referee Joe Cortez, who is now an expert analyst for ESPN Deportes, is still not moved enough by Manny Pacquiao's recent performances to go against Floyd Mayweather Jr. There are ongoing negotiations to make a Mayweather-Pacquiao mega-pay-per-view for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Cortez was impressed by Pacquiao's recent beatdown of previously undefeated Chris Algieri, who went down six times in the contest. Not impressed enough to pick the upset, even with Mayweather's two tough fights with Marcos Maidana.

Sounds like Cortez is low on cash. If Floyd got any love for the man at least do a $100 rain in $1 for him.

Cortez is one funny dude, he wanted Ricky to straight box Floyd from the outside, how the hell is Ricky gonna beat Fraud boxing .

The length of time this fight is taking to be put together seems like the winner will be the one who can stay alive the longest !!

Mayweather doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell and mayweather knows this hence why he is stalking negotiations desperately looking for a way out

STFU Cortez I know you're analyst but your just a ref. A s.hit one at it.

Sure you would side with mayweather if you're the ref just like during the hatton and ortiz fight..

Floyd is the most protected fighter in all of sports

Not only does he pay off USADA, NSAC, the MGM but now its clear that he paid off refs in the past as well
