The Ibragimov fight had a sell out or close to it. Too bad the fight was one of the worst of all time.

that was horrible. even worse than the povetkin fight imo minus the clinches. I believe it was the first quick handed southpaw wlad faced since sanders and he was getting visions of that fight in his head. doubt it will be the same with jennings as wlad has regained his confidence and jennings wont just try to survive

I'm not surprised at all. Wlad has allot of fans in American who haven't been able to see him in the US for 7 years. May never have the chance to see him again.
Also you have Jennings supporters and American boxing fans who want to see a promising American go up against the best in the world

There will no doubt be plenty of fighters/former fighters, celebrities and athletes in attendance

Casual fans in the US actually believe Jennings has a good chance, or rather a definite chance, of beating Wlad...it's the hype every time, the arrogance overcomes them of the belts 'coming home' and especially in a venue like NYC where a lot of big fights happen, the demand for tickets is not so surprising.

Allot of people will be there to see Wlad. Jennings does have a chance, anything can happen in the ring.
