    Styles make fight!

I hate triangle theories as they do not work! Ali, Frazier and Foreman for example. Also, when a fighter loses to another fighter with a style that doesn't suit them, I sometimes feel that no matter how well he trains he may never be able to beat that style, doesn't mean he's a bum but rather the title of this thread. E.g. Chisora-Fury, Foreman-Frazier, I don't think they'd ever beat the other guy.

Triangle theories are ****. Styles do make fights.
But in saying that i think you can compare one fighters upcoming fight compared to another he has faced with a similar style......but you must tread carefully in doing so. It can make you or break you. You will either come across as a idiot or someone with knowledge.....

As a wise man once said......

    Wear thick socks gordon!

Styles do make fights, it's one of the best things about the sport. A guy you would think doesn't have a chance can give a much bigger name huge problems because they have one weapon the other guy can't deal with.

Levels come into it too though.

Sometimes triangle theories don't work but often they do work. Styles influence the outcome of fights sometimes but fighters make fights, not styles. You can have two fighters with similar styles and one of them could be a much better fighter than the other and therefore win fights the other fighter with a style like his would lose.

Like most cliché's, "styles make fights" is only partly true. Styles and the attributes behind them make fights. Or, to use another cliché: styles make fights, but there are levels to this ish.

No, no, no. Marquez KO'd Pac in 6 and Floyd beat Marquez easy decision so that obviously means Floyd KO's Pac in 1. No point for a Floyd/Pac fight.

Floyd agrees with me so suck it haterz

Just because he started a thread with this title below?

"Why can't we appreciate banned Mayweather and Pacquiao?"

The poor guy just entered the message board here (this in case he isn't an alt -- which he doesn't seem to be)...

I hope that the moderators would make the effort to explain the poor guy how things are really working here...
