  • Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua's Return: Yaroslav Zavorotniy Possible

According to sources in the UK, Anthony Joshua's next opponent could very well be 40-year old Ukrainian veteran Yarolsav Zavorotniy (16-7, 14 KOs). The fight is penciled to take place on April 4 in Newcastle.

Red-Hot 2012 London super heavyweight gold medalist Joshua (10-0, 10 KOs), rated #8 by the WBC, #12 by the WBO and #15 by both the WBA and the IBF, was set to fight Kevin Johnson on January 31, but was forced to withdraw in a mid-January due to a mild injury. Johnson fight is preliminarily set for April 25, while the Ukrainian is considered to be just a warm-up.

Is that the bloke who Price fought in europe in 2014?

If so he seemed like a durable kind of boxer.

But that was against price who looked a bit puffed out on the night.

Lmao, I like Joshua but he's juiced to FCUK!. They clearly avoided Johnson for a softer touch.

Wanna back this up or are you just going to spew unfounded BS?

He didn't avoid johnson why would they pick him in the first place?

I knew Hearn would find him a patsy since he's fighting a few weeks later. Not that Johnson isn't also a patsy - the fat piece of sh it has no ambition whatsoever and will be there to collect a paycheck. Joshua can hit, so he'll probably be the first to stop Johnson.

If you think Joshua is naturally built like that then you are in a wonderland.

Okay granted he may not be using steroids but he is very obviously on HGH just like Wladimir and a few others.
