Comments Thread For: Alexander Eyes Guerrero/Thurman, Berto/Lopez Winners

Former two division champion Devon Alexander (26-3) suffered a setback in December when he lost an unanimous decision to Amir Khan at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with the St. Louis, MO native to get an update on his career.

I support any fighter who doesn't cherry pick and Dev is one of those guys. Look forward to seeing him back in the ring.

The winner of Thurman vs Guerrero will probably fight Maidana, so Dev can have the Berto vs Lopez winner

After that one-sided domination by Khan, Alexander should look for a welterweight tune up. Losing 3 of his last 4 fights could end his career... although that might not be such a bad thing.

He should really start to look for the losers of those fights...
Alexander is one of those boxers that even winning he manage to remain irrelevant to the boxing world...

He should fight the loser not the winner

Alexander just doesn't have the good at the top level. Proven time, and time again. Him and Lopez or Guerrero would be a decent scrap.

He would easily beat the winner and loser of Berto vs Lopez

Get the winner of Guerrero or Thurman. Stay away from Berto/lopez winner as it will not increase your stock. Or try to get Diego Chavez.

Exactly 2 out of 3 L's does not set him up for the winners of these fights. He's got to get in the win column first by facing a keith thurman coming off a loss or the berto/lopez loser
