He's certainly well past his best these days, but i still think he'd have enough, i wouldn't be hugely confident, but he would still be one of the guys i believe could beat Toney.

I think Byrd could beat him if he would just throw punches. Like Merchant said you cant be safety first and safety second.

He came in piss poor shape, fought a terrible fight, and blew another opportunity to become champ. Now age will catch up with him and he will never retire having been heavyweight champ. I think that's pathetic on Toney's part given the sad state of the division. I give him props for fighting the only guy that could really beat him, but at least win the fight. I love Rahman, but we all know Rahman loses his next fight, especially if it's against Maskaev. I hate this division with all my heart. My two favorite heavyweights collide to determine the true champion, and it somehow goes wrong? Give me a break.
I don't know, I think toney did the best he could in the shape that he was in and still managed to get a Draw against an in shape determined rahman. Rahman fought a good fight, probably one of the best performances I have seen in a long time from him, and this natural middleweight still puts on a good show and makes it a very close fight. It does suck he blew another chance at being heavyweight champion, wish he would get in shape.. nonetheless he is a great fighter.
