Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) is very confident as training camp continues for his March 14th HBO televised title fight with WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

The World Boxing Council made an unusual ruling last December at their annual convention. Although there is no WBC world title at stake, the sanctioning body has ordered their light heavyweight champion to face the winner of this match.

Pascal would love to get his countryman in the ring and there is serious bad blood between them.

Forget winning/losing..... All that got thrown out of the window once Kovalev started his rampage on NBCSN in January of 2013. NO ONE has a chance at 175. Ward, Adonis, Pascal, no one. We are witnessing the future GOAT LHW right now. But Pascal (and no one else) has a chance to do anything more against Kovalev then to survive and not get his head taken off.


Just like how if Ward stepped up and fought Kovalev- he will be in straight survival mode and carefully planning all his moves to make sure he goes home that night with all of his limbs in tact.
