Those comments were from the Summer of '10, after Pac-Clottey and Floyd-Mosley AKA the 2nd round of negotiations. Both guys were under contract with HBO. Greenburg had no horse in the race. He was just interested in making the fight with his two biggest stars.

But as we have and will continue to see, Floyd has never and will never want the fight. All we can do is take bets on what his talking point excuse will be this time. Da Test, Vacation, etc.

When asked during the latest round of negotiations how exactly Mayweather is holding up the fight, they dont have an answer and instead point out the past. Which is fine but dont overlook how Arum and Pacquiao have their own track record.

You drawing parallels between Floyd going into "retirement" and him taking a few days off in Jamaica is a stretch. Whatever else you posted, while important to keep in mind, isn't specifically relevant to this holdup. Mayweather is on the record saying negotiations are ongoing and he's spoken face-to-face with Koncz/Pacquiao who have said they believe that Mayweather wants the fight.

Koncz and Pacquiao have been quiet since last week and aren't blaming anything on Mayweather now. Only Arum is.

A few days off what? The guy does nothing but relax, gamble, hang out etc. HE does practically anything except for make this fight.
