Go **** off Arum. All they need is time for training camps this fight needs zero promotion.

Actually this is nothing new. Arum has been complaining about the May 2nd date for weeks. He mentioned doing it in June three weeks ago.

If floyd wanted the fight then why he trying to go to Australia and Jamaica? Hes going on a world tour to avoid fighting Pac

This fight should've been announced in December

Arum wants the fight, Pacquiao wants the fight, HBO wants the fight, Showtime wants the fight, the only X factor is Floyd. Now I know why they initially set the deadline. For a huge bout like this, you'd want plenty of months to train against one of the best defensive fighters.

Not enough time for a cut to heal.
Not enough time to build an outdoor arena.
Not enough time to promote the fight.

Not enough time is one of Arum's go to excuses.

We're already in Feb and the fight would be less than three months away. This fight is not happening and I for one am glad.

Die Arum. You can announce this fight in the middle of April and it will break every record in history. The problem is not time, it is Floyd's lack of testicles.

So Arum is frustrated at Mayweather's urgency?? That's nothing new. He's the one with all the 'deadlines'...

How about Bob STFU until you have a SPECIFIC list of complaints as to why the fight isn't done and put pressure where it's needed........the networks.

HBO claims they are not an impediment but the replay rights seem to be the biggest sticking point along with who does the play-by-play and who gets 24/7......what have they conceded on?

So how about HBO? Do they actually believe they can wait out this year and simply because Floyd's contract with Showtime will be up, he'll jump in for the fight with HBO in control?

Get real. If this fight doesn't happen now, Mayweather won't do it on HBO AT ALL just to spite them on that point.

It seems to me that the people that need to put pressure on anyone is Pacquiao/Arum to get HBO to move........unless they are all on the same page and actually believe Floyd will come back to HBO........they can't actually believe that........it seems like another way out and an easy way to blame Mayweather for the fight not happening again.........

Too bad Roach has already told the truth about that........

But I believe both fighters truly want the fight now. Mayweather sought Manny out in public, went to his hotel, called Espinosa on speaker........so what is still the hold-up?

This is why 'ducking' claims bother me. It's usually not the fighters but some other BS.........Arum has tried to control the fight from the jump and when he can't, starts throwing these 'senior moment' tantrums........and HBO seems to be perfectly happy to get back at Floyd for leaving........

Everyone loses. ESPECIALLY the fighters in this case........both are on the same page and want to get the fight done..........it's a shame. If it doesn't happen this time, nobody will want to go through this again. Manny should have taken a non-exlusive fight-by-fight deal with Arum like Cotto did. Then none of this would be a problem..........
