    Rewatched Tyson Holyfield 2

I don't blame Mike for doing what he did. Holyfield was using his head like a third arm and the ref wasn't doing anything about it.

Holyfield was wrestling and fighting with his head for most of the fight. Tyson even got cut because of it and the ref didn't even make a ruling. No warnings, no point deductions, nothing. He just kept letting him fight with his head.

Yeah that cut was nasty... Holyfield was very sneaky with using his head. Still doesn't excuse what Mike did but with how the fight was playing out I'm not surprised at what he did.

      Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!

Whatever, man. This is water under the bridge. Holyfield has always been the better fighter. The only reason Tyson wanted the rematch, is to cheat in case he didn't KO Holyfield early. He never thought he could beat Evander. See, Evander is a REAL Lion. Tyson is a mental midget/bully, who breaks down when you fight back. The head-butts occurred because Holyfield isn't a "runner". Tyson ran in reckless and wild hoping for a stoppage that way. You're disrespectful and in denial.

Epic moment: Tyson so pissed about the constant headbutts tries butting Evander back by running in head down but STILL ends up getting the worse of it!

Evander's head must be made of concrete

Notice that's only ears he bit, Holyfield is a dirty fighter, Mike just ****** after prison (still good, but no where near his greatness of the 80's), so Holyfield would have won for sure , Mike just wanted out of the fight.
Too bad they couldn't have fought before Mike went to prison, the Tyson that beat Razor Ruddock would have probably beat Holyfield (at that time).

Did you just excuse it because it's "the only ears he bit"?

People are in with dirty fighters all the time, and they don't bite their opponents fucking ear off.

Kind of common knowledge this day in age of what was really going on in that fight. Holyfield fights with his head down and it's for the fans, ref, and judge to decide whether he is trying to spear his opponent or just protecting his chin. Maybe some new rules need to be drawn up, I mean idk. All I know is it is a sure fire advantage for some fighters. Look at Bradley and Hopkins, they are always running in head first I mean WTF!

Tyson's supposed to be a professional

stuff like that can always happen in a ring, that doesn't mean every boxer is allowed to act like a rabid psycho if he's getting fouled

Kessler was blatantly headbutted by Ward over and over with the blessings of the referee, does that mean Kessler would have done the right thing had he munched Ward's ear or nose off as retribution?

Mike Tyson was a hundred million dollar man back then and was to be taken seriously, just like any other cash cow of boxing. If Mayorga was butting De la Hoya in the face like that with no repercussions, there would probably be some discrepancies. Same goes for Floyd. If Maidana was ****ing Floyds face up bad like Holyfield did to Mike, **** would have gone down. Even in Zab vs Floyd after that intentional low blow and rabbit punch, a full on brawl broke out.
