Comments Thread For: Manager: N'Dam vs. O'Kane For IBF Title is Possible

According to Gary Hyde, manager of Hassan N'Dam (31-1, 18KOs), a fight with Eammon O’Kane (12-1-1, 4KOs) for the vacant IBF middleweight title is a possibility.

N'Dam is the mandatory challenger to current champion Jermain Taylor. But the champion is facing some very serious legal issues in the United States and very few are expecting to see him in the ring again. The IBF is likely going to strip him of the belt.

He is...but might might be tied up soon. If not... he can put in for him to do it.
Saunders is higher and it appears he won'tn get his WBO shot

How the heck does O'Kane sit around and do nothing and find himself in a shot for a vacant title... The IBF hasn't posted updated rankings since early October, how does a former champ like Geale not move up ahead of someone like O'Kane?

N'dam nearly given a belt for a second time. I wouldn't mind Quillin calling him out after this mockery of a title fight.

Barring what happens on Friday, N'Dam vs "The Latin Snake" Sergio Mora might also end up being a more viable option for the vacant title fight.

Have Dibella (Mora) and King Sports(N'Dam) work out a deal, have DiBella work through Haymon to pick up a date for the fight, on Sp1keTv or NBCSN, and you secure both guys a massive opportunity, where the winner has Lee/Quillin/Jacobs/etc to look forward to.

What a matter? Domenico Spada not available? Pathetic "vacant" title fight, per usual

N'Dam wins either of those, so just depends on the IBF and what they do
