Froch sold Wembley. Groves is a passenger. Domestic level, not world.

Groves is right. He is Degale's father, after all. Father controls and dictates, the child listens.

Hahah poor DeGale, forever son of a Ginger!

You both disrespect Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzales. P4P he's in the top 5 fighters in the world. Don't hate because he's in the lower weight classes he's 41 fights 41 wins 35 by way of Knockout.

Would be a tough fight and if I were a bookie I'd price both of them the same. De Gale looks good of late especially since he got his injuries sorted. He used to lay on the ropes trying to roll shots getting clipped by journey men but now he's doing even better than expected. The big thing to remember about these two is Groves has De Gales number beating him both in the amateurs and in their pro bout. Something's changed with Groves though he's pulling his punches and has this glazed eye look like the (2) knockout(s) have affected him badly.

If they both beat the Dirrell bros, then there's good money to be made. Why not have a double header to stir up the mixture. The Dirrell's would lap it up @ MSG!

Their history means a 50-50 split would be just right but should they meet again there's no doubt the bookies here would mark up DeGale as a pretty strong favourite, and with sound reason. The Olympic gold medallist's development has stuttered along the way but he's now realising his full potential.
                  hmm..

                  Here's a thought:

Groves has made millions in his two fights with Froch last year which were both massive box office hits and some of the most talked about fights in British boxing history. He rates higher with Sky and sold more than 10k tickets on his own last time he headlined a show in september.

The last time Chunky headlined, he sold about 2k and he's not a massive draw with Sky (yet).

Groves did not sell 10k tickets

The only reason he made millions was off Carl Froch's back. If that first fight had been allowed to go on another 20 seconds, everyone knows he would have got flattened just like he did in the rematch. And he would have never got a rematch.

Groves should thank Howard Foster Jr, Eddie Hearn and the judges from both his fights against DeGale for giving him his life. A purely fraudulent career.

I didn't think it was possible to outdo David Haye in the "doing as little as possible for huge money" stakes but I think Ugly Kid might have outshone the master.
