Comments Thread For: John Molina: I'll Be Looking To Knock Adrien Broner Out!

Junior welterweight contender John Molina (27-5, 22KOs) is regarded as one of the most dangerous punchers in any weight division. On March 7th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Molina returns to the ring against former three divison world champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner (29-1, 22KOs) as part of Haymon Boxing's first 'Premier Boxing Champions' card on NBC.

Molina is coming back from a disappointing 2014 where he lost both of his fights. He went to war with another feared puncher, Lucas Matthysse, in April. After dropping Matthysse twice, he was dropped himself three times and stopped in the eleventh. He then came back in September and lost a ten round unanimous decision to Humberto Soto.

Broner's resume after Maidana is a joke

        a clear exhibit A of ¨path of least resistance¨

i wonder how many midgets does he need to beat in order to get his confidence back

I truly don't see how Broner doesnt at least get put on his ass in this fight. When has he ever not got hit by something big dating back his whole televised career. Molina isnt a great "boxer" but he is good at landing that one shot, and with his power sometimes that's all it takes.

Molina looks to knock everyone he fights out...Not exactly breaking news...

Broner should get a good test from Molina...He maybe lacking overall skills but his punching power and strength at 140 makes him a formidable opponent for AB...

Broner fought well in his last match against Taylor...He finally let his hands go and kept up a fairly consistent attack throughout the bout...Molina represents a natural progression for Broner following his beatdown at the hands of Maidana...Should he come out of this fight with good results I could see Broner challenging for some version of the 140lb title in 2015...

Broner will hit the deck at least once.

                    Lol @ earlier comments.

This is John Molina, not Carlos Molina.

He's 5 foot 10, punches hard, and throws constantly. It's a good fight.
