I'll be so disgusted if Mayweather/Cotto II gets made.

Is this an Al Haymon quote? NSB wannabe advisors

As for the GGG quote, Cotto was once in that position and looking for big fights himself, which he was granted and progressed from there.
A few of boxings top players are past their best now and should be looking to pass the torch, not choosing opponents who enhance their declining skills.

Cotto is damaged, which has been apparent since the Marg/Pac fights. He isn't regarded as prime anymore and would be the perfect stepping stone for the next generation of serious prospects.

No pride left in the old guard.

Why the *** would anyone be afraid of Canelo? He has arguably lost 3 of his last 4, so why the *** would anyone be scared of him? GTFO

As a boxing fan, how can you say this!?!?!? This is what you say to a son or a close friend... Not to a ****ing professional that gets paid millions and millions of dollars to entertain us the fans!!!! How can you fans encourage this ****!?!?M it's sickening! It's the Floyd mentality. What's best for them, the boxers, screw the fans and what we want. I for one, would encourage him to fight in a mega fight and keep building on his legacy..

the longer he waits, the less his options, IMO, especially if May 2 passes him by....I'd like 2c him vs Thurman...
