British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is planning to fight in the month of May. He hopes to face either Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao around that period, but those two welterweight champions may end up fighting each other.

That leaves Khan with a very big option, a domestic fight with IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, who is pushing to get the Bolton fighter in the ring. Brook is first defending his title against mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan on March 28t, and Khan believes his domestic rival will not be ready in time for a date in May.

Why the hell would he rematch that bum? What is there to gain for Khan? He already beat him and Maidana is coming off two straight losses.

Maidana should rematch Alexander to earn a shot at Khan.

I see the hate for King Khan still runs deep around here. All he does a is show up for fights and come to fight. He's had a few disappointing/embarrassing losses but most fighters do.

On another note, Khan was turning his nose up at the Brook fight when he had a better shot at landing someone else, but now the pickings are slimming down "I'll fight Brook." Tsk Tsk. Brook should make him wait awhile. He needs to start pulling the trigger on fights while they're right in front of him.

Khan needs to stay away with Kell Brook not a good matchup for him. Kell Brook has a lot of tools to outbox him. Khan has his speed but Kell Brook has a good timing. My SHOBOX Streak 7.
