Look at the 'boring' class : Floyd, Rigo, Ward, Lara, Hopkins.

'Boring' is a bait move to have the boxer come out of his comfort zone so the other guy who cant deal with slickness have a chance.

I find Santa Cruz far more "boring" than Rigondeaux. Couldn't even stay awake through his last ****fest of a fight against his latest sparring partner.

just punch after meaningless punch..mistake after mistake..no skill at all..just toe to toe front foot heavy to the point that they couldnt even turn over their punches...i agree that style has loss appeal and i think its bc we've seen it beaten over an over again

Its just that these so called boxing fans do not know what they are watching. If every fighter just met at the center of the ring and threw haymakers, the sport would die out quickly because 1) too many head injuries and 2)it would get boring - These fighters know what they are doing and most fighters styles mimics their personality! To the fans that don't know shyt about this sport and blindly follow their favorite fighter to hell step ya game up! Boxing is chess, its a thinking man's sport, its about survival, discipline, overachieving, and daring to be great! anything less would be the UFC and last I checked their star tested positive for ******* and still won???? go to that sport or just go to a bar - plenty of fights there. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit, blocking a punch and countering, making your opponent miss his shot then making him pay !

There's a huge difference between purist boxing and this amateur cuban style, mayweather is a purist, rigondull is an Olympic style fighters with no head gear on. Ha ha , I laughed like crazy when I heard this interview on espn radio in Spanish , Rigo was funny like hell .

Poor little santajoke , is totally scared . I Gave up on this fight after I watched the joke in his last fight , rigo would humiliate it .

I have to thanks oscar for trying , he beat a cuban for gold medal in the olimpics , fought floyd , Trinidad , Mosley , PAC , you name it , and now is trying to teach little Santajoke some courage ....
