What did you guys think of the PBC commercial on NBC?

The ad itself, I found to be kind of corny. I am not a fan of Haymon at all, but putting boxing back on network TV is a good thing. The only sport I like is boxing, so I am glad to see it being put out there again so more people have access to it.

I can't believe the negativity in this thread, this is great news for boxing period! It seems obvious to me that they are going for the over 30 demographic with this commercial. Not sure that I agree with it, but it's a start. If they are going for that demographic though, they should incorporate the NBA on NBC theme from back in the day into the show too.

I would have liked to have done a montage. Incorporate clips from Ali, Leonard, etc. and transition into the new guys as the next generation

That was lame. Looked liked it was trying to hard. Not HBO level production. Not even Sho level. But I'm just glad for more fights on any channel, so I'm holding out until I see the show.

Although this doesn't bode well for the production quality of the show. They better step it up on fight night.

Well the fact that there is a commercial for an upcoming NBC fight is awesome and great for the sport...but I got to admit I don't think the commercial itself would grab me if I was a casual who didn't already follow the sport

Why are fans so bitter? If any other sport made a commercial just like this, the sports' fans would have liked it. Millions of people will see this commercial, unlike in HBO/Showtime where only those who have the channels can see commercials like these.

And lol @ Keith Thurman vs Robert Guerrero and Broner vs Molina not being good enough fights for free television. Dummies those are HBO/Showtime championship boxing caliber fights. WTF are you all smoking?
