Kevin Mitchell (39-2, 29KOs) believes he will finally become a world champion after stopping Daniel Estrada in a final WBC title eliminator on Saturday night. The Londoner delivered one of his finest performances to stop Estrada in eight rounds at the O2 Arena on Saturday night and book a WBC lightweight title shot against Jorge Linares (38-3, 25KOs).
Mitchell, who has lost a previous world title fights before and had a another taken away after violating weigh regulations on the day of his win over Ghislain Maduma in May, believes he is finally ready for the gold.
