Dante Jardon and Juan Carlos Salgado both look to overcome rough patches in their respective careers as they co-headline in separate bouts Saturday evening in Mexico City, Mexico.
Jardon aims to end a two-fight skid as he takes on Patricio Moreno in the main event. The fight marks Jardon's first since a 12-round loss to current 130 lb. contender Adrian Estrella last July, which was preceded by a Dec. ' 13title fight knockout loss to Takashi Miura.
Salgado - a former two-division champ - has fallen on hard time, having now lost three straight, beginning with a 4th round knockout at the hands of Argenis Mendez in their March ' 13 rematch. The loss ended his 130 lb. title reign - which began with a win over Mendez in Sept. '11 - having since suffered setbacks versus Miguel Roman and Takahiro Aoh.
