Still have no idea if he can cut off a ring, he couldn't this time last year.
If he could cut off a ring and break out of a clinch he could give Floyd problems but he hasn't shown either quality.

Bradley is a good test for him.

Floyd has never fought anybody with a devastating uppercut, that's why he ducked Margarito IMHO.

NOW, IF Bam Bam would have fought Floyd that night... DO YOU BELIEVE Bam Bam Rios would have stopped him?
Did you see that series of Rios ducking and dodging? Floyd doesn't stand a chance...

Alvarado lost the fight before it even started. ANYONE could have looked good in that fight. To even suggest that Rios has a possibility to stop Floyd is truly absurd and idiotic. Rios will never ever be an elite in this sport because his boxing isn't good enough. He's slow as ***, doesn't really care about defense, brawls without using his brain, and itsn't smart in the ring, among many other flaws. How can a boxer with these characteristics beat the P4P champ? I'd bet my life, my house, my car, my girl, my parents, and my dog that Rios doesn't even win 1 damn round in that fight.

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

and this was before Brandon got serious, now its clear as day Rios murders him, hell even mayweather know this thats why he befriended Rios and sent him front row tickets to his fights etc it was to get on Rios good side and hopefully prevent Rios from challenging him.

Rios doesn't need the blueprint. RIOS IS THE BLUEPRINT.

Well, considering that this same Rios could hardly land any clean punches on Pacquiao and lost every round by a mile, hell no. Rios would not have a chance in hell of beating Mayweather. This isn't some new great fighter we are talking about. This is just Rios in shape and fighting his best. He was in shape and fought his best in his fight with Pacquiao. Rios is as brave and tough as they come but he will always be a level or two below elite fighters like Mayweather and Pacquiao. Rios looked great in his last fight with Alvarado partly because Alvarado fought so poorly and offered no resistance. He made Rios look better than he really is. He is still Rios and still not in Mayweather's class.
